Insourcing/Outsourcing trade offs and partner selection

In selecting the right partner, the availability of sector-specific knowledge, capacity and experience, as well as, for example, the price-quality relationship and the financial stability of the outsource provider are critical. The BCI partner selection process is based upon a proven and pragmatic approach.

Based on the company strategy and objectives a partner profile is being developed. Based on the partner profile a long list of potential providers is selected. In an RFI process the long list is assessed and a limited number of short listed partners candidates is selected. The short listed companies receive a detailed RFP based on which their bids (cost & qualitative) are compiled. BCI analyses all bids in detail, carries out a site visit together with the customer’s team and supports the final selection of the optimal partner.
