City distribution

City distribution remains a key focus point for many regional and local authorities. Freight transport in cities is growing, as is the resistance against trucks and vans. City logistics is a complex process, with public as well as private parties, which all play their own role in the process.
Retailers want to limit the number of trucks at their front and back doors, the consumers want to see and buy all the newest products as soon as possible, shippers want to deliver their goods and, as soon a possible, leave the city centre again, shippers see advantages of having their goods available in the shops but do not pay too much attention to the transportation itself. In the end, it is often not clear who exactly owns this problem.

Our added value

We have been involved in many innovative pilots around city distribution and as a result we have created a large database on city logistics and practical solutions. We are leading the way in finding and implementing solutions in a multi stakeholder environment. New is the attention to the delivery to office areas and the link with business parks.
